New Preschool Standards

The state of Nevada has recently revised the Nevada Pre-Kindergarten standards. This is a complied list of learning objectives that provide a framework for curriculum and instruction at the pre-kindergarten level. As parents it is very important that we are aware of the learning that is to be taking place with our little ones. At HO4K, all of the state standards are discussed, addressed and practiced with the students. Many activities actually address several of the standards for pre-K learning. Frequently the new state pre-K standards will be listed under the description and pictures on the blog throughout the week. This will help you to be aware of what your child is doing, the reasons we are doing certain activities and where your child's learning ability should be upon completing preschool.
